I bought this in Nov 2009 because I couldn’t beat the price! It was on sale though so with it only cost me with free shipping, plus I had a gift card so it really only cost me . Now that I see it for , I’m a little disappointed because I came here to buy a matching one for my husband.
I do not think it is as cheap as some are making it out to be. The top is great and big enough for my lamp and clock and the various things I always stash on my night stand. I love the opening for books to read before bed. The cabinet is a little bit flimsy but it’s not something I open every day. I use it for stashing things I don’t need to access often.
Overall I really like the cabinet and was all ready to buy another for my husband until I saw the price. I don’t know if it’s worth so I might wait to see if I can find it on sale somewhere else.

This end table looks great in the picture, but be warned, it’s pretty cheaply made. I mean, more so than I would have expected. The sides and shelves are one step above printed cardboard. Even though it doesn’t call for it in the assembly instructions, I would recommend gluing every piece to give it more stability. If you have friends who consider every piece of furniture a potential chair, you will want to get something sturdier.
On the plus side, its sole purpose is to sit at the end of the couch and hide the mess of newspapers and magazines, and it does that job very well. The cabinet easily keeps two week’s worth of newspapers out of site. If you can find it for – with free shipping, then it will be worth it. I have seen it for as much as on other sites, and if I had paid that much for it, plus shipping, I would feel ripped off. As it is, the price was reasonable, shipping was free, and it hasn’t collapsed yet, so hey, not bad. But not great.

We got these as a gift and they were supposed to be a Natural Oak finish, they aren’t they are very light. They are only partially wood, the rest is particle board. They are cheap and they look cheap.

A lot lighter in color than the picture. Plus I liked the idea of having a cubby hole type in the top but it actually comes with a drawer in place of that. So to me that was missleading. The drawer is nice too but I was hoping for the opening as if it were a shelf. You cannot make it a shelf either. Maybe it is worth it after all to “pay” for good furniture. Pretty sturdy for the price but you can tell it won’t last for ever.
